PowerBuilder Systems is a specialist service brand operated by Coral Team B.V.("we", "us"). This page summarizes how this website handles your data.
What we collect
We use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami, running on our own server) to count page views and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not share data with any third party. No personal data is collected by this analytics layer.
Beyond that, the only personal data we receive is what you choose to submit when you click the "Ask a question" button and complete the contact form (your name, your email address and the message you write), or what you send to us by email directly. By submitting the form, you ask us to use those details to respond to your enquiry.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide so we can send occasional updates about our articles and services. We never share it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and Google Analytics
In addition to the cookieless analytics above, this site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. It sets cookies on your device and processes usage data — such as the pages you view, approximate location and device type — to help us understand how the site is used and how our campaigns perform. This data is processed by Google and may be transferred to servers outside the European Union.
You can prevent this at any time by declining or clearing cookies in your browser settings, or by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Server logs
Our hosting infrastructure may briefly retain standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested path, timestamp) for the purpose of operating and securing the service. These logs are not used to identify visitors and are rotated regularly.
Contact form & email correspondence
Submissions through the contact form are transmitted by a transactional email provider (Resend) to a private mailbox operated by Coral Team B.V. Email you send to info@powerbuilder-systems.com reaches the same mailbox. We retain that correspondence for as long as needed to provide the service you asked about and to comply with applicable tax and commercial-record obligations.
A copy of each form submission (and of newsletter sign-ups) is also written to an access-restricted log on our own server, so that an enquiry is not lost if email delivery fails. These records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, are never shared with third parties, and can be erased sooner on request.
